Creating the chalkboard sign was pretty easy and most of all FUN. I used this tutorial just to get an idea, and wanted something unique. I used a different background, then downloaded a bunch of different fonts from dafont (guys check it out, so many cool fonts). Designed the sign in Adobe Illustrator and had the whole sign printed 20″ x 30″ in color at Walgreens. You can also try to print out the sign at Staples for about $4.00, in black and white but the trick is to ask to be printed in “engineering print.” Then you mount the board, and add a stand.

This was my first time, creating a birthday sign. I had so much FUN!!!

Now we see the birthday girl with the sign!!!!
